Sara, Janhvi and Ananya were the celebs who took part in the Global Citizen concert this past weekend where Sara was seen wearing a printed Madhurya sari, Janhvi in a neon crop top and midi skirt and Ananya in a shorts suit combo from Dalida Ayach.
Loved Sara’s sari but the coordinated bangles felt a bit too filmy. As for Ananya, the color of the footwear was a good pick, the sandals themselves seemed meh for the outfit in question. As for Janhvi, sure the color was nice but overall, nothing different from what we normally see on her. Felt just more of the same.
Did you have a favorite? Or like me felt that everyone was underwhelming.

Everyone always craps on Ananya but I think she looks great here- love the colour of the blazer/shorts combo and I love the strong shoulders. I get what she is trying to do with the shoes – the whole 90s minimalist vibe- but yah it could have been a different colour. Maybe a baby blue?
Sara looks pretty but also almost costumey- but to be honest I’m just obsessed with the pastel sari looks I’ve been seeing lately so maybe I’m just biased . Janhvi’s outfit in theory is effortless- I’ve got similar outfits and its easy to wear but she seems a bit stiff. I think that maybe its the hair? Maybe it needed to be tousled? Just something to make it less polished- but it’s easy to dole out critiques, theyre all beautiful.

Ananya looks decent but I didn’t like her footwear.
Enjoyed reading your opinion/thoughts on each outfit. It makes the blog more enjoyable rather than when you just ask readers to comment on the outfit . We come here to read your candid, honest reviews so felt like giving props where props are due. 🙂
C’mon, the girl’s just dressing up in a desi way. What’s wrong with coordinated bangles especially when you see the other two – Ananya’s upper half is dressed for fall and bottom for spring :P; Janvhi seems to be wearing westernized version of blouse & petticoat.
I like Ananya’s outfit, she looked good and Sara looked nice too..however couldn’t really identify the proper colour of her saree due to the photo lighting….didn’t like Jhanvi’s outfit and hope she changes her pose soon, seems to always clasp both her hands together in all events while being photographed
Curious why you see it as a bad thing that her hands are clasped? Not being judgmental, since I just like to know because personally I really hate the hands on the hips pose. Unless you’re doing a magazine photo shoot it just looks so stupid, I feel Jahnvi and Sara look better and more elegant with their hands clasped than if it were on their hips and most usually do

I wish Sara was styled differently. The sari is very kitschy but the accessories are traditional. Maybe with a crop top or a funky blouse.
Janhvi just looks like she put on the blouse and petticoat but forgot the sari 🙁
They all look meh. Janvhi looks like she is taking styling tips from Nora Fatehi these days.

Sara looks very fake and posey and te saree/ bangles seem very forced. Didnt like Jhanvi’s outfit at all. She always goes a few sizes tight on wester wear
With all their access to advisors, groomers, designers and stylists… this is how they turn up!!! lack of energy, exuberance, individuality and personality….is all I can see consistently with this bunch of ladies.
This is the new crops’ “individuality” :p
Sara’s saree can be easily worn on Janhvi’s outfit, it would perfectly match as a blouse and petticoat 😀
Jokes apart, all of them look good in different ways.. Except that Sara’s bangles and earrings are totally a mismatch with each other..
