Samantha attended a press meet today for the upcoming Filmfare Awards South wearing a red Burberry Prorsum dress with an updo and printed gold pumps finishing out the look.
Keeping the makeup light and the styling minimal was a good move given the color and cut of the dress. We love!

I could understand a daily update on her outfits if she was at Cannes and not some random movie promotion. Can’t help wonder what’s happened to HHC. Really hope actresses PR folks haven’t found a way for self promotion on this site. The outfit is all right the leather makes it look tacky and I second that she’s too curvy for the outfit.
Nope, we haven’t sold out to PR folks. We post appearances as and when they happen. For instance, usually with a movie coming out, you see a whole lot of one actor… Are you forgetting the multiple sightings of Vidya, Shraddha and Alia in the recent past?
Exactly. When there are no complaints about daily updates of people like Alia and Vidya from their movie promotions why now? I don’t remember HighHeel ever saying they only cover Bollywood celebrities. If you do not know the celebrity, google them. If you don’t care to know then simply skip the post (just as i have done for many people featured on this blog).
She’s one of the top actresses in South India, if not the top currently. A little bit of diversity on HHC is not gonna kill anyone.

I agree. Plus she gives plenty of interesting outfit pictures and is cute as a button. I love to see her here just as I love watching in movies.

She looks good but the fit around the waist seems off in the lower photos. Also not a fan of that belt.
I prefer this look from the post yesterday (black and white maxi look). Really brings out her beauty and that fab body as well.

She looks awesome overall but the scrunched up cloth on her bust region slightly bring down the look a notch. Adding the belt was a great idea though!
Her figure is too curvy for this dress. This kind of dresses work on tall , slender gals like Deepika and Kangana.

She often looks matronly or like a flight attendant, thanks to her boring hairstyle. And she does not have a great chiseled face, either. I would prefer to see her in more casual outfits.
Very very average styling. Her face appears to look like a plumper / swollen version of Anushka’s.
What’s wrong with posting the outfits of a lesser known actress? She may be from the South, but Samantha is not a nobody. IMO, she looks nice. The only gripe I have here is that the gold belt is not as fitted and thus not sitting on her nicely (see last picture). One does not need to have a supermodel body or a ‘chiselled face’ to wear outfits and look good. And just to give credit where its due, P&P, I appreciate that you feature a diverse range of people on your blog.
Totally with PnP on this…this is a fashion blog and it doesnot matter ifsomeone is from north or south..also appreciate them for holding their ground and not losing focus on the fashion irrespective of their or us readers view of the wearer…(one exception being sonam;)….oh well thats a different love story;) )

I think she looks lovely…the hem is not done well but that’s a minor gripe….way to go girl!!
Great look overall. What a gorgeous colour. If I had to nitpick, there are possible fit issues and a slightly dodgy hem. Hardly noticeable though.
Now, I can’t get on board with those pumps with the rest of the outfit.

I don’t particularly like this dress…Also, is Mumbai really North India? It seems more central India to me. Unless peeps from UP etc..are being featured, which would be true North. Not to mention several actresses residing in Mumbai have roots in the South which btw is not one big city. There are 4 different states with unique identities.. The more you know..
Mumbai geographically is in West India. Oh well, for most anything above the Vindhyas is just North India. And totally agree, lot of actors who ruled Bollywood like Sridevi ji, Rekha ji, Hema Malini ji are all from the South.
