Sabyasachi also wore a long coat to the Met Gala 2025 paired with a feather hat and a collar neckpiece. I felt rather underwhelmed. His outfit at last year’s Gala showed off more black dandyism that the theme was begging for.

Did he borrow Deepika’s outfit from his own show?
Except for the Saturday at-home dad-style khaki pants and belt, the rest of his outfit last year was more suited for this year’s theme. This year, except for the hat and plume that says something about this year’s theme, he mostly looks like he got lost in a St. Marks place (NYC) thrift store and had to wear all the disparate clothes in the store to fight his way out the door to arrive at the Met Gala.

Agree. This has been an eyeopener for me as a Sabya fan. Even Alia’s saree last year – which i thought was too sweet a take on theme — was better than this.

Love the oversized quilt jacket….but not on him. And the formal/traditional look is a HUGE NO!
I thought it was a fresh take compared to the other men. I did not like the excess jewellery on him and others including SRK and Manish Malhotra.
He looks like a patron of ‘Heeramandi’ if it was to happen in 2025!!!
