Rekha was seen at the Jain-Advani wedding in her black kanjeevaram sari worn with a full-sleeve blouse, a whole lotta jewellery that included a matha patti and an embellished gold potli.
Now, Filmfare pointed out that we’ve seen this at Black premiere back in 2005 but we’ve also seen Rekha wear the same kanjivaram many times since then as well on these pages itself. Catch a few here and here.
Some of you who have heard me talk about #Wearsions (wearing things from one’s own wardrobe differently every outing) but damn, Rekha is kicking our butts with the many ways she has styled this sari and continues to do so with all others.

Always an icon!
Couldn’t have done it any better, she is the queen of Kanjeevaram, and it’s iconic how creatively styled she is with each outing!
The styling in earlier pics is very saree glam. Rekha can be ott and that is her.
This is not specific to Rekha but why is everybody at this wedding (& other recent weddings) dressed so OTT?

Brides are dressing in pastels and simpler and guests are going OTT
Rekha’s sense of style is iconic!
In the other picture the black kanjeevaram saree seems to be different, not the same. The one she is wearing to the wedding has maroon velvet border.
She looks super regal but I think she should tone down the make up.
