Rani arrived in Jamnagar to attend the Ambani-Merchant wedding and was seen wearing a Veronica Beard checked blazer with a denim waist code, brown suede pants and western style suede boots. Minus the boots, this was a smart look even though a bit overkill. But, we are talking a high-profile event so not surprised that everyone is dressed to the nines even while travelling.

There are many ways to dress up, and each piece in this ensemble is simply out of place. The blazer (bad by itself) is too formal, the pants are a truly awful color, and the boots are the least of Rani’s problems.

I think she tried matching the stripes on blazer with the pants . Its odd and awful
Such awful pants! Would have looked much better with jeans to match the waste coat. Then the blazer would have the highlight.
I wish she had worn a different pair of pants.

Her clothes feel terribly costume-ey to me. As if she is playing a character, and in real life, she wouldn’t wear any of these ensembles. Ill-fitting on most occasions, and I mean that, literally and metaphorically.

The coat is nice on its own. Like her look waist up, but this isn’t a formal do for God’s sake! She looks ready here to ink a contract with Reliance Industries. Wrong choice.
