At the success party of her movie, Rani was seen wearing separates from Payal Khandwala with a stone necklace and silver slip-flops. She looked nice. She also wore an orange ikat maxi and dupatta combo to interviews last Friday. The dupatta sure was striking but against that maxi, felt overwhelming.

She is one of the most gorgeous faces in the business
She has such a gorgeous face and an infectious smile, and she never seems to age.
I just wish she could hire a great stylist that could match clothes to her body type and bubbly personality.

Damn…that dupatta is an eyesore! She really needs a second opinion on her clothes before each time she steps outside.

Oh my god wow! Thank goodness we still have Rani at the movies, love her first look.. so chic. Second looks good too, very different on her ever seen, could’ve draped it less voluminous to get the actual outfit.

She has such a pretty, smiling demeanor – I wish she found a stylist who understood that and dressed her more simply. The first one, the yellow is lovely, what is that strange square in the front? The necklace is weird with that outfit. The second looks like she grabbed a blanket and made it a poncho – because it was cold in Norway
I actually like the yellow kurta, it’s nothing designer but it’s pleasent. And the brown is playing off nicely against her hair and eyes…
And Rani isn’t wearing her usual chunky footwear….
I think of Rani, and I think of Vidya.
Two petite women with curvy frames, faces that can be described as cute-beautiful, a Madonna-esque vibe, strongly feminine persona… In fact, I can see Rani portraying Vidya’s roles perfectly well. Think Ishqiya, Kahaani, etc. And I think Vidya can comfortably inhabit all of Rani’s roles, as well.
It seems (to me) that Vidya clearly sees the particular vibe she projects and her dressing is perfectly in sync with it. Can’t say the same about Rani, though… And perhaps that’s why her style feels a bit confused/conflicted.
I see this a lot. There is a “vibe” that a person radiates, and it often feels that their clothes/styling is dissonant with it. And when there is resonance, they look awesome! And it isn’t even about the clothes any more… More a state of alignment, harmony, coherence.

I will take these two looks over her past looks displaying logos of Gucci or LV or whatever other brands she prefers.
First outfit is fine, would have been way better without the square patch and the discordant necklace.
Second outfit looks like she is trying to signal a rescue plane to land near her.
I liked her in the second outing more. Her face looks gorgous there.
The PK look is classy chic.
