Out And About

Rani was spotted out and about on Monday wearing a floral Alemais shirt with lime yellow pants and a Burberry bag. Everything about this outfit felt dated.

  1. sigh here we go again. *facepalm.* I knew her default “look” would make an appearance soon enough after that wonderful KIFF outing, HIDEOUS sunglasses et al. I simply do not understand how she manages to look so tacky when not wearing a sari. she clearly has no understanding of what looks good for her height and body type, and she inexplicably refuses to hire a stylist when she can afford to hire a dozen of them.

    • Except for the horrible shoes, I think she looks ok

She does have a stylist, and I have nothing against him. He dresses the same as she does

  2. That’s not dated, that’s vintage…. Would’ve looked great in the 60s…. But she actually fares better than her normal western looks …

  3. Money doesn’t buy taste… Like really, if this shirt vs. another less $$/fancy/dejiner option were presented to most women here, I bet you won’t choose this.
Its neither dated nor vintage imo, it is bad.

  4. When in doubt, wear a crisp white shirt and black ankle pants with a chunky necklace. Done. Why walk out in a 1000 dollar outfit that looks like it came from a costume store?

  6. Tai tai (??) is a Chinese colloquial term for an elected leader-wife; or a wealthy married woman who does not work. It is the same as the Cantonese title for a married woman. It has the same euphemistic value as “lady” in English: sometimes flattery, sometimes subtle insult. One author describes it as equivalent to the English term “ladies who lunch”.
