In Faabiiana

Comment image 13

Wearing a chikankari lehenga from Faabiiana featuring a bandhani dupatta, Rakul attended a Diwali party on Wednesday evening. Love the skirt and dupatta, but that bustier top is just not my cup of tea and was a deal breaker.

Was it for you too?

  1. Such a beautiful dupatta. Why has it become so passé to wear a legitimate blouse/choli? That bra/bustier is a definite deal breaker. Hate it.

  2. Nice outfit and she’s looking great. I don’t think there is anything wrong with the choli..it’s young, stylish and chic. Tired of high-neck blouses on lehengas/sarees with a tight bun to go with it, and wearing/draping duppattas to put the twins on display. I will take this any day.

  3. Better than the strappy deep neck blouses, for sure!! This is good in taste and classy
For some reason , I don’t see it as odd one out. Would wear the whole glam look!!

  4. After all the comments on how Sara started or not started white chikankari kurta trend, under Jhanvi’s post, have to mention here that it has been over a decade, chikankari kurta with bandhej dupatta has been a staple piece in my wardrobe. Sara no doubt has made it popular among younger lot across the country.

  5. Blouse looks so cool. She is young nd fits her amazing. She is carrying it beautifully. Also, I really find Rakul one of the prettiest faces in the current lot. And loved this styling with bandhani dupatta.

  6. First thing the lehenga and duppatta are lovely . I don’t mind the size of that choli, it’s not vulgar , and suits her. But it’s plain and kinda looks like a bra.would look better Had it been embroidered .
