Priyanka attended a Diwali party in NYC last week wearing a look from Zuhair Murad‘s Spring 2025 collection. While she (and her stylist) got points with the Rajasthani mirrorwork inspired pantsuit pick, they lost a whole lot more by wearing that scarf top as a pseudo top way with that random maang tikka.

This outfit is a disservice to the lovely mirror work. Dislike it very much and doing nothing for her.
Yikes, atleast the model is wearing pants at the waist but Priyanka’s is below navel making it look so tacky

How about model drape of the dupatta around the chest. We are picky with what we observe.
I don’t think the maang tikka looks out of place. It enhances the desi look and looks good on her. Don’t care for the outfit though.
I didn’t like it one bit atleast not on Priyanka. It could have been a good look after seeing it on the model. It just didn’t come together well.

Beautiful suit but bad job by the stylist. nothing works – flowers in hair, the purse, the scarf top, the hairstyle, makeup.
Even the fit is also off.
No idea why the same outfit is looking classier on the model, even though the model has one boob uncovered with the scarf and PC has both boobs covered. Why do I feel this would look far better on a Deepika or a Diana Penty? Needed a taller person to wear it maybe? So confused by this.
She has worn it like someone who never grew up in India or even has roots. This is how a lot of white folks would wear almost like a costume rather than a regular outfit. That maang teeka really makes everything worse.
