Preity was seen at the Khan-Sharma Eid party in a pink kurta suit by Manish Malhotra paired with earrings from Maheep Kapoor. Ignore the bright pink color and one would notice that this was one of MM’s relatively simpler designs. But, that is if you could ignore the pink. I, for one, am not a fan of this shade of pink.

Color is fine, it’s the odd suit cut and pants, white embroidery that makes it quite gaudy. Preity looks beautiful though.
I actually like the shade-the problem is the general design and embroidery that makes it look like a doily laid for a tea party rather than a nice kurta
The colour is a problem. Not the pink but the white. The fabric looks flimsy under the lights. It is the harsh white colour of the embroidery making it worse. The neck is extremely unflattering. He could have gone easy on the embroidery – the sleeves (near the wrists) definitely didn’t need that.
I picture this with a better fabric, same pink colour, less embroidery and finally a more muted shade instead of that bright white. Too many changes? Why not go for a different outfit altogether!
The shade is pretty, me thinks.
But the outfit belongs in one of the movies from the decade Preity was acting in. So dated and loud!
Looks like bubble gum. Boom boom boomer.
