In Gauri and Nainika

Wearing Gauri and Nainika, Neha attended the Critics Choice Awards on MOnday evening. Now, while she made this look work for her, when you look closely at the outfit, one is left scratching their head. Basically, we have a jumpsuit here and a whole lot of contrast fabric tied on as a belt. To me, it just looked weird when I stare at the bottom portion of this design. Just me feeling that way?

In Varun Nidhika

Naina opted for agold Varun-Nidhika jacket and skirt set paired worn with a pearl choker and a gold clutch. Any other day, I probably would’ve wanted a red lip but she looked nice here nevertheless.

Sari Style

Swastika and Sakshi opted for saris to wear to the Critics Choice Awards with the former picking a Bengali laal-paar one and the latter, a golden-beige Raw Mango Chanderi. Loved Swastika instantly. As for Sakshi, while she looked nice in the sari, wish she’d added a light coral lip.

In Shloka Khialani

Shriya attended the Critics Choice Awards wearing a sari-inspired Shloka Kialani gown. I have nothing against fusion designs but between those shred-ish like ruffles on the skirt and the sheer pallu, I wasn’t liking this creation one bit.

In Payal Khandwala

At the Critics Choice Awards, Amrita was seen wearing Payal Khandwala brocade skirt paired with a silver shirt and waistcoat and tie. The addition of the tie was an element borrowed from the designer’s look book and may not be loved by everyone but I sure liked seeing it here.

My only issues with this look was those gold bangles. They looked out of place here. A chunky silver cuff might have been the better choice here. Again, it’s a minor gripe.
