At the Critics Choice Awards, Amrita was seen wearing Payal Khandwala brocade skirt paired with a silver shirt and waistcoat and tie. The addition of the tie was an element borrowed from the designer’s look book and may not be loved by everyone but I sure liked seeing it here.
My only issues with this look was those gold bangles. They looked out of place here. A chunky silver cuff might have been the better choice here. Again, it’s a minor gripe.

I love love the skirt and even those gold boots but no way can I warm up to the top half. Even Amrita with her personality cannot sell it to me!
The tie is an eyesore !
A different look, executed so well. I, for one, loved it.
Love the skirt and shoes, the top half belongs to a trouser. A ethnic top, or something nicer would’ve been a good match, the vest jacket and tie don’t look great.
I don’t feel like this skirt goes with the top half. Payal Khandwala has a lot of brocade/Benaresi palazzos and slim trousers in her collection, so pairing this with trousers I think would be better here, or choosing a different top. I don’t think either half is doing justice to the other.
This look is such an impactful one in theory but something about Amrita here makes it look all very blah. Maybe it’s the hairdo that’s the culprit here!

I love it, Amrita is bringing some real freshness to the red carpet.
