Recycling On The Runway

Well, we’ve seen it happen with Manish Malhotra saris (see here) and now its happened with a Pria outfit too. Spotted a pink dress from Pria’s collection already worn by Anupama, way before! (see here). And not just that dress, we also had spotted her wear a gold number with remnants of the same print used as a wrap on the bustier.

What’s more puzzling though is, what is this dress doing on the runway of her latest collection almost a whole year later? Filler item or is Pria looking to make this a signature fabric in all of her collections?

In DvF

Ordinarily I find myself liking everything DvF but somehow with this blouse, am very on the fence! It has bit of a kitschy vibe and that appeals to me. But the longer I look at the print, the less I like. Having said that, I do like the fact that Ms. Poonawala wore this rather busy top with white denims, the perfect foil for it!

Since we’ve given her such a hard time over her appearances, its only fair to give credit when its due! Soha wow’ed us at a special screening of her movie ’99’. She paired her grey top with a pencil skirt, adding a belt for detail that fit just right. And the best part of all, her hair! It wasn’t a mess!

Please please, let this not be shortlived!
