Having just walked for Maheka Mirpuri’s latest showing, it was no surprise to Ms. Dutta wear one of Maheka’s outfits to the premiere of her new movie.
While we do appreciate the fact that Lara never shies away from changing it up, wish she chose something that wasn’t sooooooo pink/peachy/coral. It’s hard to take it all in.

It’s just been a few days and we already have another (see the other one here) dress that’s made its way onto two major stars. Earlier we saw the red Versace dress on Katrina (see here) on the GQ cover and here is Kajol who wears it in Vogue India with a Mango cowl top to make up for the deep v-neck. If you ask us, we’d have rather seen Kajol wear a different dress than wear it with the black top.

It almost seems like, after looking at this Vogue India spread, that the dresses in question were picked before even deciding on subject. How else can you explain layering that beautiful Versace dress with a boring black top and the last pic where Kajol looks like she is trying to hold the dress up?

It’s nothing but love for Mr. Arora around here!
No birds, animals or circus sets this time around, just sleek geometric patterns.
His rather futuristic Spring 2010 collection marries Indian techniques with geometric lines/design in the most eclectic manner. Swarovski crystals, the now almost signature contoured hips, hint of drama, eighties silhouettes (those exaggerated shoulders!), a nod to sci-fi… this collection had it all.
The stiff bodices, structured silhouettes and an interesting color palette had us hooked. A far more wearable collection than anything we’ve seen from him lately; we can’t wait for these clothes to be spotted off the runway.
And how ‘crazy’ is that Manish chose to show his collection at Paris’ rather infamous ‘Crazy Horse’ cabaret? 😉 Love.
