Let’s get the things we like out of the way first… love the minimal accessories, soft make-up and the color (white) against Ms. Sherawat’s skin-tone. Really do. The part that we don’t? That’d have to be the pinstripes on the gown making it look like a very, very low thread count linen set in a motel.

The thing with Ms. Tandon is when she gets it right or even relatively right, she can really hit it out of the ball park. Relatively speaking.

Neither of these looks are much to write home about but she does don both the dressed-up and dressed-down looks rather well. Especially love the kurta paired with the jeweled minaudiere. A stunner she is, just wish her clothes would catch up to it.

Those shoes though, we’d have given ’em a miss.

That gold shirt is such a downer though, totally makes the outfit look so costume’y… had she ditched the shirt for something else, Mallika would’ve totally worked it!

One look at Meester and we had an instant flashback to Ms. Kapoor.

Both young fashionistas chose abstract print Marios Schwab dresses and paired ’em with some ankle heels. While the dresses themselves are different, conceptually both executed the look pretty similarly. For us, it’s impossible to pick a favorite since we think both ladies pulled off their ‘looks’ impeccably well but maybe you won’t be so hard pressed to pick a side? 😉

At the same Dior event, Priya Chatwal was spotted wearing a blue version of the Preen dress that we saw on Shilpa Shetty a while back. Priya was also spotted wearing the gorgeous lace dress from Stella McCartney’s Fall 2009 collection at a WLIFW bash hosted by Tarun Tahiliani. Unfortunately, we still couldn’t find a good front profile picture but then I don’t blame the photogs. The major detail of the dress IS after all on the side and sleeves and they captured that part. 🙂
