When on the runway for Jaeger LeCoultre and then for Farah Khan during Couture Week, Suzanne was dressed in Gauri and Nainika gowns. While she looked lovely in both instances, the gowns were rather meh and evoked a serious sense of deja vu! One referenced Dolce and Gabbana and the other gown hinted at Valentino. Having said that, which appearance of Suzanne’s do you like better?

Genelia walked for jewellery designer Farah Khan at the HDIL Couture Week wearing a Gauri and Nainika bustier dress with a train, a look that reminded us of her Neeta Lulla outfit from the South Filmfare awards (See here). The only thing I like about this look are those sandals and that isn’t saying much. Why wear such an overwhelming dress when the spotlight should be the jewellery? I can’t even focus on it because I am distracted by the yards and yards of fabric.

Sridevi walked the runway at the 2009 HDIL Couture week for Queenie Singh’s jewellery line, “Jewels By Queenie”, wearing a strapless Herve Leger gown, seen on the jewellery designer last year.

A case of similar tastes or a case of lending? We think it’s more of the latter. What do you think?

P.S. As much as we love Sri, the gown was really unflattering on her!

Among the first to be seen in a Gauri and Nainika Spring 2010 outfit was Bipasha Basu at a recent event. It is to her credit that she made such a ghastly dress actually work on her… can you imagine this on someone else?

The Roshan couple walked the runway this past weekend for Jaeger LeCoultre, a luxury watch/jewellery brand. Before changing into her green outfit for the runway, Suzanne was spotted wearing a dress version of the Dolce & Gabbana outfit seen on Rosario Dawson.
