Move over LBD, it’s all about the LWD and I absolutely love Haseena in hers (the far left picture), so effortlessly cool. Bring on the summer highs.

And as much as I liked that ‘look’, I disliked the maxi with equal fervor. So unsightly and unflattering with it’s elasticized drop-waist.

Spotted Ms. Padukone in a fresh off the runway Cue dress shown recently at the A/W 2010 Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. She wore the metallic sequin dress with lattice ankle-sandals . Not a fan of the sandals much but loving the metallic dress on her. (Or perhaps it’s because it’s been a while since we saw her dressed up.)

Once the temperatures get soaring, out come the maxis. To use the bane of every soccer mom’s fashion vocabulary… they are so “comfy“! 😀 But really, when chosen correctly, maxis can be that perfect antidote to a scorching summer afternoon.
