At the races, Rhea Kapoor channels a bit of Chanel not by donning black and white but by wearing multi-stranded pearls with a red dress and a black patent frame bag. Red Chanel sandals complete her look. For a day event, the red dress with the pearls is a bit overwhelming to me but it’s a cute look. You like?

Priyanka Chopra’s Custom Ferragamo Shoes: A First Look

Here is first look of the custom made Salvatore Ferragamo sandals made for Priyanka Chopra as part of the Shoes For A Star project. While I would love to see Ms. Chopra debut these with a simple dark-hued gown with a thigh-high slit, Priyanka wouldn’t mind seeing her in a Roland Mouret dress with a below-knee hemline.

Don’t know whether we’ll get our wishes but our question to you is, are the sandals fab or flop?

We all (well, almost all) agreed that this Monisha Jaising dress was too glitzy for Ms. Padukone to wear during the day time. And those gladiators didn’t do the dress justice either. At the Zee Rishtey Awards, Roshni wears the same dress and does fare better by wearing it with pumps but the pumps are so meh. We still have to ask, who do you like better?

I really would love to see someone wear this dress with some sexy t-strap high-heels for that glam look. Wonder who will humor us? (Malaika?)

Am not one for florals but you can’t deny the elegance of a beautiful floral chiffon sari and that’s exactly what we spotted designer Pratima Bhatia in recently.

Love the vintage sari on her that she paired with strings of pearls. My only gripe would be that clutch which stuck out like a sore thumb. Wish she had opted for a simple minaudiere instead. As it stands though, we love this appearance of hers…
