Disregarding the footwear (which I absolutely dislike and Payal doesn’t quite mind), Anushka does do casual well at both of her events.

Just when we were about to post Bipasha’s editorial from Verve’s April edition, here comes Lara on Marie Claire wearing the same Gucci Spring 2010 dress seen on Bips. We think both women do justice to the dress equally in their looks going by these scanned images. What say you?
You can catch Bipasha on the Verve April cover in Gucci inside.

Yes, yes, yes, this is a bit late in coming but better late then never, no? 😉
Didier Lecoanet and Hemant Sagar presented a collection titled ‘Green’ during Lakme Fashion Week, which focussed on ethical fashion, and used fabrics like cotton, handloom silk and poplin in a color palette that was mostly dominated by rusts, greens, creams, beiges and black.
The collection was extensive… an almost exhausting range of bleached denims, jackets, trousers, skirts and shifts, not to mention menswear as well. But we couldn’t help but feel it was a tad repetitive and uninspired. There’s only that many shifts that can excite you. After a point it was a blur of clothes walking by. The womenswear part of the collection seemed all over the place and not too cohesive despite it’s binding “organic” theme.
I’d be remiss though if I didn’t mention the menswear part of the collection. There were some standout pieces that looked really promising.
