Neha Dhupia For Grazia: (Un)Covered

Pastels and soft covers might be the norm but boy does Neha bring some “fierce” to the soft palette of Grazia’s latest cover. It was about time Ms. Dhupia got a cover!

Grazia like almost always nailed it. And Neha is Fab! We love it.

In Anamika Khanna

Loved the runway one, but am loving the one-shoulder version on jewellery designer Payal Gupta even more. Except, wish Payal had worn the runway version which would’ve highlighted her necklace better. It clashes with the detailed neckline of her version.

Sonam in Marie Claire:(Un)Covered

Another magazine, another cover. It isn’t the first and it definitely won’t be the last.

Do you also feel that the bikini top is too jarring for the soft feminine ensemble?

You can catch the article by Manjula Narayan Here and the editorial inside.

Update: The neckpiece is by Nitya Bajaj.

In A Phase

Ms. Lulla seems to be loving her jersey, monochrome palette and statement necklaces. Question is, do you?

Yin And Yang

Haute Couture Fall 2010 shows are underway and yesterday John Galliano (of Dior) presented the “La Ligne Florale” collection which reminisced on Christian Dior‘s ‘Tulip Line collection’ from 1953.

One of the particular gowns instantly reminded us of this Archana Kochar gown presented a year back. No, this isn’t a Seeing Double edition because you can clearly see which designer took an inspiration/idea and came out with a winner instead of a dud.

This isn’t a post about discrediting Ms. Kochar, either. We know how much effort goes into a gown like that but the reason it didn’t work is because the flowers are too in your face. It doesn’t feel like inspiration any more, just replication.

Below are some of my favorite pieces from the collection. You can catch the whole collection Here.
