In Emilio Pucci

We rather like this Emilio Pucci dress on Anju which she paired with some strappy heels and a metallic BV knot. The color looks great and the print totally works on her.

In Prabal Gurung

This golden dress was on our wishlist for Sonam. Sonam didn’t wear this particular one, but tonight in New York, Alexis did. And did so oh-so-fabulously.

She was head to toe perfection and I love how her hair plays off of the golden color of the dress.

Going Nude

Friends and designers Masaba and Nishka attended the Rocky S preview at Aza wearing nude pumps. While, Masaba offset her pumps with a lace white dress, Nishka picked a floral dress, pink BV knot clutch and a flower hair pin.

Am not a floral print person, which is why I am gravitating more towards Masaba’s look. That is not to say I hate Nishka’s either. The floral print isn’t too overwhelming which works for the look but I wish Nishka occasionally changed up her hair. Whose look do you prefer?

The Pink Ladies

It being a Baby Shower, we are guessing the theme was Pink-and-Blue since a lot of the guests were dressed in those hues. As were Ameesha and Vidya.

Both ladies chose ankle-strap heels, but while Ameesha paired her dress with a Louis Vuitton bag, Vidya added a tan belt to hers.

Whose play on pink do you like better?

In Louis Vuitton Diwali Collection

Come November, Vuitton will be celebrating Diwali by collaborating with Rajeev Sethi to create special window installations that will include hand-painted trunks and limited edition dresses made from vintage saris.

Wearing one already was Christy Turlington at the 25th Biennale des Antiquaires Gala Dinner. As much as I love the idea of using vintage saris, the dress is just not jumping out at me. I guess, the traditionalist in me prefers vintage saris as is. 😛

Looking forward to the installations though. Thanks sony for the Christy tip-off.
