Doing Denim

Aditi attended the Poonawalla’s party for the Jonas Brothers wearing wide legged denims with a blazer embroidered with “MM, something just like this”. Given the others, her outfit felt a tad too casual. She also was spotted doing denim while out and about earlier in the week and between the two denims, preferred this pairing more.

P.S. The blazer writing didn’t make sense to me. Can someone clue me in.

Sari Style

Esha was seen at the Filmfare Awards in a red kanjivaram sari paired with emerald jewellery. This was another look that I felt was overstyled. Rule of thumb also when layering is to go one short and one long. To me, the second neckpiece was too short to be layered with the choker. Both worn together with the full sleeve blouse made the look feel stuffy. Props though for picking a handloom sari.

On an aside, I am surprised, an event in Gujarat and noone picked a Patan Patola to wear.

Ms. Naval wore a black Raw Mango benarasi sari to the Filmfare Awards pairing it with black studs and a black clutch. Loved!

Sari Style

Shefali kept it simple at the Filmfare awards wearing a white chanderi sari with gold and silver borders paired with silver jhmukis. Given how sheer the sari was, wish the blouse was more of a matte color but the blame could be the flash as well. Other than that, she looked nice.
