While all eyes were on A.R. (in Corneliani), ours were set on Saira who looked beautiful in a custom Rahul Mishra that was paired with Farah Khan Ali jewellery and a gold Leiber clutch. On first glance, we’ll admit we didn’t quite like the footwear, but seen from the side, they didn’t seem that bad.
P.S. We’ve always been in love with the designer’s collection, but the Spring 2011 lotus motif pieces are just ah-mazing! Need to have one now!

At the Vanity Fair Oscar party, Zoe Saldana picked a Prabal Gurung dress, one which we loved. Not a fan of the shoes that Ms. Saldana wore but, ankles-up it’s a Love from us!

Prabal Gurung’s Fall 2011 was inspired by Miss Havisham (of Great Expectations’) and to do undone/déshabillé with an impeccable structure and fit is no mean feat. Tulle, feathers, ombré coats, lace tops and dresses, diaphanous chiffons and tuxedo pants… We had so many favorites in this collection! Among the usual dark Fall colors, the use of blush-pink, red and fuschia was such a stand-out!
It’s no secret, we love Prabal Gurung. And those Nicholas Kirkwood heels were to-die-for.

Ms. Kaif went a casual route in a faux-wrap floral dress with a brown belt and we loved it. Love, though, was not what we felt for those beige ankle-strap flats. We would’ve gone with tan thong sandals.
