It is customary for the Lakme Brand Ambassador to walk in the finale show and thus it was no surprise to see Kareena. Boy, did she look good!

This double whammy of a finale was just what the doctor ordered! (You’ve heard us say that already on Twitter.)

We have nothing but complimentary things to say of the collection. Present were the same striking graphic designs we’ve come to expect from the designer duo along with some expertly tailored jackets and exquisite laser cut pieces. The buzz was, this presentation was sheer artistry. And you won’t find us disagreeing.

It was a short Pankaj and Nidhi number with Louboutin Delico peep-toes for Esha at the finale show of Lakme Fashion Week. We dont’ think the gold bangles were necessary but they weren’t a deal breaker either. She looked good!

It is not very often that we say the menswear presented held more of our attention than the womenswear offerings but that’s just what happened with designer Sanchita Ajjampur’s latest presentation.

Sailex presented a collection that was a glamorous ode to the 50s with sweetheart neclines, peplum accents and embellishments that he also used in his Spring collection. Loved the cocktail sari with the silver cropped blouse and also the houndstooth pattern woven skirt.

Wish we saw a lot more of him on the red carpet. Hopefully, some stylists are reading. (wink wink!)
