WLIFW Spring 2013: Anand Kabra

Anand Kabra’s Taramati was a mix of Western and Indian wear in silhouettes that we’ve come to expect from the designer. What was different though were the patterns used; a mix of fragmented mosaic and doorway arches.

WLIFW Spring 2013: Payal Pratap

WLIFW’s Spring 2013 edition kicked off with Payal Pratap‘s collection ‘Gates Of Dawn’. A very bohemian collection, the inspiration for it were the costumes of the Kutch desert. Payal was a contender for Vogue India’s first ever Fashion Fund this year and although she didn’t win, we think she’ll do pretty well going by the collection.

The floral purple sari with the flared lime blouse just went on my wishlist.

Front Row Fashion

Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week kicked off in Delhi today and lending their support to Surily were Riddhima and Sussanne who attended the designer’s show. While Riddhima picked a chain embellished Surily dress with neon accents, Sussanne went with a studded Surily skirt. Both finished their looks out with nude shoes to offset their colorful outfits.

Care for either?

In Missoni

It was a Missoni maxi for Nandita at the English Vinglish premiere. Between the fringe and the stripes this dress was already quite busy which is why I don’t get why Ms. Mahtani felt the need to add a Chanel chain belt to the look. Yep, if you look closely enough, you’ll spot it too. 😛

Sonakshi on Harper’s Bazaar: (Un)Covered

Styled by Anamika, Sonakshi features on the cover of Harper’s Oct edition wearing a dupatta and top from the designer’s couture collection. The picture is so very striking but not quite feeling the black pants.
