Of Dresses

Wearing a purple strapless dress featuring a statement train, Suhana was announced as the latest ambassador of a beauty soap label, one that her father also used to endorse. The dress was nice but the whole pairing of the outfit with those glittery platform sandals was where all love was lost. It just felt too prom-ish/tweenish. But, maybe that is the target audience.

In Twos

Namrata opted for an orange gharara pants and cape set from Kalki to wear to the premiere of a series on Wednesday and then was seen in a brown Norma Kamali gown at the GQ event on Thursday. She looked good in both. A dark brown gown is a tricky one to pull off but I liked the minimalist slant here.

In Reik

At the screening of season 2 of her series, Sonali was seen in a shirt and dress set from Reik paired with pumps and a bone handle box clutch. I would’ve preferred studs with the shirt here but that was a minor gripe. She looked nice.

Anyone else think she resembled Diana (Penty) in these pics? Just me?

In Re-Ceremonial

Kareena travelled out of Mumbai on Monday all dressed up in a white anarkali from Re-Ceremonial featuring gota work. It was amusing to see her carry the dupatta in her hand while leaving home. Between the full sleeve and gota jacket, the anarkali must have felt stuffy in the Mumbai heat.
