Two back to back appearances saw Ms. Qureshi in French Connection dresses featuring lace sleeves, on a fitted black one and the other, a flared.

Of the two, much preferred her in the black dress but not the do. Not a fan of the bump-it hair worn half down.

Looks like Ms. Poonawala heard you! And unlike last time, went real easy on the accessories. Picking up on the accents on her dress, a Givenchy clutch and pair o’ black pumps is all that it took to finish out her look. She looked good!

Another day and it was another Nandita Mahtani for Ms. Basu, this time at an event hosted by Emami. While she looked nice, I can’t imagine the one-sided excess drape being flattering on others.

Between, that and the uneven lining, wasn’t quite feeling the dress itself.
