While in attendance at recent wedding festivities, both Karishma and Neetu picked black half-and-half saris featuring gold accents.
While black seems traditionally a little dreary for an Indian wedding, Karishma’s coral-pink half of the embellished Sabyasachi sari made up for it. Neetu however had no such luck.
Between the blouse on Ms. Tanna and the sari on Ms. Chandra, the latter was the lesser favorite… Karishma came out on top easy.

The New York leg of IIFA Awards promotions saw Priyanka in a 3.1 Phillip Lim blazer paired with sheer paneled pants (also Lim).
Considering she mostly sports dresses, the masculine look was quite a welcome change. I just wish that the pants were tailored to fall on her right. They were two inches too long and looked sloppy.
Nevertheless, she looked great ankles up.

At the music launch of ‘Aaha Kalyanam’ in Chennai, Vaani went the traditional route in an orange kanjeevaram paired with a brocade blouse. The look was quite a departure from what we’ve been seeing Vaani in recently but that isn’t to say she didn’t look nice.
Just wish the blouse wasn’t so low-cut and the belt had been skipped.

P.S. ‘Aaha Kalyanam’ is the Tamil remake of ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ in which Vaani plays Anushka’s character.

Taking in Nishka’s show at the India Kids Fashion Week were Vishakha and Tamannah with the former wearing a Nishka dress and the latter Nishka separates.
Vishaka finished out her dress with a black bag and belt and brown oxford heels. In theory, all the elements work but in reality the black accessories clashed with the brown shoes and I am on the fence about those socks.
Tamannah’s look in comparison was a simpler one and she looked great. I do have a teeny gripe about the fit of the pants but it was just nice to see her in this avatar.
