Wearing a navy blue lehenga sari, Sophie attended Manish’s show at LFW on Wednesday evening. Even though the sari wasn’t heavy on embellishment, and one would’ve expected some to bling it up with jewellery, Sophie opted to go the minimalist route with a basic updo and a pair of studs.

Sometimes less is more and this was a good example of it. She looked elegant.

Sari Style

After attending the Sabyasachi show on Tuesday evening, Kajol was back at LFW on Wednesday attending Manish’s off-site show wearing a sari from his Resort 2015 collection. While I cannot fault her hair and make-up here, I have a big issue with that blouse. It single-handedly killed her look and not in a good way.

Given that the sari featured a statement floral embroidery and she chose to showcase it while posing, a short sleeve non-striped blouse would’ve made this look a lot easier on the eyes.

As part of the launch of WEvolve, an initiative to end gender violence, Rosario Dawson is in Mumbai and attended a press meet at LFW on Wednesday morning wearing a look from Manish’s collection.

The actor also attended the designer’s show in association with WEvolve and we’ll cover that in a bit. Coming back to the look, I would’ve preferred a non high-neck top with the embroidered vest but I appreciate Rosario opting to wear a Manish design at the event. She didn’t have to for the press meet.

The Punjabi Film Awards took place in Chandigarh on Tuesday evening and in attendance was Gauahar wearing a white Rahul Mishra maxi. Given how exquisite the embroidery was, it was a good move to keep the look simple.

She looked nice.
