Both Huma and Swara attended a movie screening last evening wearing maxi dresses. With similar necklines and defined waists, whose look at the movies do you dig more?

While neither look was much to right home about, I have to pick Huma. Summery as Swara’s maxi was, partially lined dresses rarely get my vote.

It was a drop waist, tiered Emilio de la Morena dress for Kangana while at the screening of her movie. Wearing her hair up, the actor finished out the look with Dior earrings, soft lip color and neutral ankle-strap sandals.

It’d be fair to say this slinky dress wouldn’t have worked on most. But Kangana wears it (like she does most of her clothes) with a sense of inherent ease that makes her own it. The flapper, flirty vibe works; the actor looked nice.

At the Radio Mirchi’s Jubilee night, Vidya and director Mohit Suri launched the music of their next movie ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahaani’. For the appearance, Vidya wore an Anita Dongre long kurta and skirt. Can’t say I liked the outfit. Between the shimmery chevron pattern and the neckline, the kurta wasn’t very flattering on Ms. Balan.

Shweta, like her co-star Richa, also did strapless and pink at the screening of Youth wearing a Sonaakshi Raaj draped gown. Having seen so many versions of the gown, it didn’t quite excite but Shweta still looked nice. I loved her sculpted hairdo.
