Day two of IIFA Festivities saw Genelia in a Rimple & Harpreet flared dress. To say that the look felt disconnected would be an understatement. Any which way you start looking at it, from the top to the bottom or vice versa, we just couldn’t see how anyone thought this look would turn out to be a cohesive one.

The hairdo, the red lips, the purple sandals: they all clashed with the blue dress.

While on the green carpet, Warda sported two looks, first in a Gauri and Nainika jumpsuit and then in a floral applique Mayyur Girotra one. Between the two, it was easy to pick the gown look as the better one. The softer do worked better with the gown.

The issue I have with the jumpsuit is that it would’ve looked better if it was a gown as evident by the middle pic. The pants portion really throw me off. As do the bangs.

In Rami Al Ali

At the opening of a restaurant in Dubai last Friday, Nargis was seen in a shimmery cobalt blue Rami Al Ali gown. I believe the gown is backless hence the fit at the bust seemed a bit off because of the arm post but the color more than made up for it.

I do wish though she had paired the gown with more interesting footwear. The Louboutins felt a bit too safe.

At the 1st anniversary celebrations of Femina Middle East, Huma was spotted wearing a turquoise Sonaakshi Raaj jacket with white denims and nude sandals.

We don’t have the best pics but from what see, she did cut quite a pretty picture.

In Nachiket Barve

As part of the IIFA weekend, Shefali’s most recent movie was screened, and for which the actor picked a red Nachiket Barve dress. With her hair pulled back, Ms. Shah finished out the look with diamond and ruby jewelry.

Not a fan of the red-brown lip color which when combined with the brozer didn’t quite work with all that red of her dress here. Subtler make-up and a pair of solitaires instead of the earrings she had on would’ve served the actor better. That said, the dress itself works on her.
