Ms. Kapoor served as the showstopper for designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla on Friday evening at their bridal fashion show. While the chikankari work lehenga was exquisite, can’t say I liked the styling here. The necklace just seemed so disconnected with the overall look and I, for one, didn’t like the fishnet (Swarovski studded mind you) dupatta one bit.

Sonam did take the dupatta off for post-show interview but it didn’t improve the look by much. The victorian ruffle blouse just didn’t work.

P.S. Two bridal showstopper gigs in a year. Is Ms. Kapoor sending a hint?

On a serious note though, even without the over-exposure, a bit of color by way of the jootis or earrings would’ve made for a nice addition!

Wearing an embellished Jade suit, Athiya attended her upcoming movie’s promotional event. With her hair styled in soft waves, she rounded out the look with metallic sky-high block heeled sandals.
