Wearing a Payal Khandwala lehenga, Lakshmi attended the Filmfare South Awards on Saturday evening. Payal’s designs work when presented with a minimalist slant. That was definitely not the case here with Ms. Manchu who wore the look with heavy earrings and a jhoomar. Unfortunately the look just felt very costumey and the messy eye-makeup didn’t help her cause.

Sayani went monochromatic at the Inside Edge trailer launch wearing separates from BENNCH. If you look closely, one might find the folding of the pants a bit clownish, but because the top is so streamlined, the look in fact worked better that way.

Wearing a Deme dress, Sarah Jane attended the trailer unveiling of Inside Edge, a series that she appears in. If this was a regular slip dress, I think she would’ve had more success.

Between the bad fit at the bust and the amateur-design elements like the tie-up straps at the back, the less said about the dress, the better!
