Sari Style

Alia attended Durga puja celebrations on Wednesday evening wearing a Dhakai Jamdani with a chikankari full-sleeve blouse from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. A Dhakai Jamdani stands out because of the woven motif in the border. The additional embroidered border done by the designers duo drew attention away from the motifs and all the charm that made it a Jamdani was completely lost.

Also, Alia here looks like she is playing dress up vs owning the sari. Rhea, who styled her, is a good stylist but I think gets really caught up that everything must be “big name designer”.

In Raisa Vanessa

Priyanka attended the opening night of the Bvlgari exhibition wearing an off-shoulder gown from Raisa Vanessa paired with a neckpiece from Bvlgari, but of course. I don’t like the sheer skirt as much but waist up, she looked good.

In Jacquemus

Huma attended the Bvlgari exhibition opening wearing a jacket and pant set from Jacquemus. At first glance, the pants might look funny to one because of the posing but the more I see this the more I love the look. The short do balanced off the exaggerated silhouette well.

In Anamika Khanna

New mum Athiya made an appearance at the exhibition opening wearing a cream embroidered jacket and draped skirt set from (no points for guessing!) Anamika Khanna paired with shimmery pumps and a jewelled Bvlgari serpenti bag.

I don’t care for that fringe design aspect on the jacket and skirt but there was no denying that Athiya still looked good!

In Jacquemus

Malavika did shades of red in a Jacquemus dress paired with a Gucci padlock top handle bag and red shoes. Am a bit on the fence about the bag choice, the size and shape didn’t seem to work with the dress but she wore the dress well.
