Kicking off Aiyyaa promotions, Rani made an appearance on Jhalak Dikhla Ja and Dance India Dance. While it was an orange sari on the sets of JDJ, the DID taping saw her in a Sabyasachi maxi.

Unfortunately, between the maxi and the necklaces, the latter look got way too overwhelming. Much preferred her sari look. You?

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Ms. Mukherjee, that is not counting her in-character Aiyyaa appearance (see inside). She kept it simple in a white chikan anarkali suit at an event and while I, personally wasn’t a fan of the earrings, she looked nice nevertheless.

While she didn’t attend the IIFA Awards (in June), Rani made a trip to Singapore to attend the premiere of Taj Express, a production by Vaibhavi Merchant. We wouldn’t have added the blue necklace but then we weren’t fans of the gown itself. With the tiers, pleats and flowers, it (the gown) was just too busy.
