Neetu attended the Jain-Malhotra wedding reception wearing a blue Anuradha Vakil suit. Given all that Marodi work on the clothes, wish she’d skipped the necklace. Having said that, it was nice to have a Vakil sighting amongst all the MM lehengas.

Apart from Neetu, Sonam/her mum, Rani Mukerji and Anupama Chopra (and may be a couple of the Ambani ladies), hardly ever seen anyone else wear them. Maybe she doesn’t lend her clothes by the dozen a la other designers?
It is likely. A lot of designers don’t like to play this lending to stylist game (in the hopes it reaches a star). If you ask me, that’s a good thing. Sometimes I find some designers as so overexposed that you don’t want to wear them anymore. That is my personal opinion.

Too loud for my personal taste but colours are good. Maybe they seem nice as we are seeing only pastels on these pages for past few days.

This is one gaudy shiny outfit…I’m glad it’s a rare sighting if all her designs look like this. On any other person it would have looked worse, Neetu is just so elegant that one can overlook the over the top gold work…or at least try to
Love Vakil, glad some of the bollywood women favor it. otherwise we would be drowning in MMs and Sabyas.
Indian women of a certain generation do NOT skip on jewelry especially at weddings, no matter how embroidered or gaudy the clothes are. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. It is a fact of Indian life. Ask your moms to confirm 🙂
