Mouni attended the Sanon-Ben wedding reception on Tuesday evening wearing a jewel toned ivory tissue sari and blouse from Aangiwali with jhumkis and a maang tikka. A gold Sabyasachi clutch finished out her look. These aangi blouses have embroidery pattern that is very tongue-in-cheek and I kind of love it.
She looked nice in it.

Red saree is nice, a small red bhindi would have been nice to add.

No, there are no such rules. It’s literally impossible to outshine the bride in these cases, so wearing a similar (or the same) color doesn’t really matter.
I think she’s one of the few who looks beautiful post-cosmetic surgeries, and she looks lovely in both the looks here.
