You’ve already seen the cover, here is the editorial that we’ve been waiting for. How amazing is the red Jenny Packham pic?
On an aside, something tells us this was taken at the same time as the shoot for the Abhi-Ash July edition. Same locale, same photographer (Marcin Tyszka) and outfits from Fall 2010 collection in an issue where we should be seeing Resort or even Spring 2011 collections. Hmmm.
Update: Added the behind the scenes video. Also, keep in mind the shoot happened more than 6 months ago.

Actually she is not heavily photoshopped. The Vogue India behind the scenes video shows her looking the same.
i agree on the photoshopped comment. unless ms. rai found a way to magically lose all the wait she has recently put on for the sake of this photoshoot, this shoot is most definitely heavily photoshopped. one look at any of her recent red carpet appearances will prove this.

ddint you see the video..is it photo shopped too..you guys just have to get over it..and for once accept she looks good and that is why she sells…to me she is not the most beautiful..but looking at her shoot is always ‘paisa vasool’ for me …
she is a gorgeous woman but in the closeup of videos you can see the wrinkles on her face. i am glad though that they photoshopped them out because i would rather see a flawless even if photoshopped picture rather than a natural one with all the unsightly wrinkles and fat.
but she is hardly shown in the video…i mean the rest of the ppl and locations are visible not her,so how can you guess she is not photoshopped,maybe the reason she isnt shown in the video is bcoz ppl would see that she is photoshopped!!
weight wise – her problem area is her arms – every shoot where they cover her arms looks great! – this one and the boho-sabyasachi shoot for harpers i think!
anyway – its great! it means that the stylist knows his job!!!

Magazine shoots take upto 4 5 months in advance and this probably was taken even before that because it was taken at the same time as the July issue was shot. So subtract another 4 months. 🙂
get over it people!!! have you seen a 38 year old women loook this good.. yes, people put weight, yes people get wrinkles. it’s all a part of a natural process you might not have heard about called AGEING!! the next person who says heavily photoshopped just need to get a life beyond ripping a gorgeous woman like her apart. she is naturally beautiful and a litlle photoshop doesn’t hurt anyone….

She really photographs like a dream. Nothing ordinary about that face! I love the first picture – she looks like something out of One Hundred Years of Solitude.
Pretty dull photo shoot after the great cover. Ash’s body has been hugely slimmed down with photoshop and this is not Ash bashing. There is nothing really wrong with how she looks so I don’t know why magazines insist on doing this. Let women look like themselves instead of peddling such fake standards of beauty.

I’m no Ash lover(don’t hate her either) but i will admit that she looks great. However, thanks to Photoshop, Ash will continue to look like this- 10 years younger and 20 pounds lighter- for years to come. We will rave about her gorgeousness and urge each other to stop being jealous. We will set ourselves impossible body image goals because, come on, if Ash can do it, we can too.
Ok, i know i’m conflating issues here and maybe it’s just me, but i’m pissed today, so please bear with me.
actually as carol mentioned earlier the behind the scenes video of the shoot shows her looking the same! I know its easy to say photoshop for everything but really take a look closely…she looks like herself and is obviously fuller looking than her old modeling days
She looks great. However she looks heavier in the video than the pics. But nevertheless she looks great.

What is everyone going gaga about? She has the SAME EXPRESSION in every picture. Also, Ash’s agents should take a clue from women like Christina Hendricks, Kim K, Twinkle Khanna, etc. who have all been photograpphed without being photoshopped down 4 sizes. This spread would have more of an impact if it was actually Aishwarya in the pics.

That is a stunning photo of Aishwarya in the red Jenny Packham gown! The Valentino dress & Jimmy Choo shoes don’t look good together! The smokey eyes are over done & so is the photo-shopping!

Kinda making me miss Sonam and her amazing shoots. She would have rocked this. I was so saturated with Sonam’s numerous appearance during her Aisha days, but now I miss her. Aish looks good here, but I can not take her seriously as a style icon considering how dowdy she looks off screen.

As part of her payment terms for doing shoots like this, Aishwarya should include the use of their stylist at any time for events and appearances, in lieu of hard cash! When she knows she can look stunning like this, I don’t know why she turns up at other times in eye-searing MM horrors which age her 2 decades at the very least.
