Miheeka, who is due to wed Rana in Aug, had a pre-wedding function at home today. For the function, she wore a Jayanti Reddy lehenga with jewellery from Krsala.
Not surprisingly, the lehenga came with a matching face mask.

Lehenga is beautiful.. but what’s the point of mask in a ceremony with more than 4 people and (assuming) ensuring nobody’s COVID symptomatic or +ve.
That too a mask that probably won’t ever be used again
The bride looks weighed down by the lehenga because of the overly earthy colors and heaviness of the dress. Hope there are lighter more colorful palettes for future events.

I agree, something is off about the colors, like some failed attempt at creating earthy colors, neither deep nor pastel..the embroidery doesn’t look neat, looks like a machine made store bought one rather than designer.. she looks pleasant and nice though

She is pretty decked up for a pre wedding function. I dont like the material of the duppatta. She looks pretty though.
The mask is very ornate. Wonder if it is double or triple layered.
Hi Payal and Priyanka, I have been an ardent follower of HCC and I also love your posts on Instagram especially that you express your opinion about the not-so-nice things happening in the world. I am sure you have an opinion about how the talentless, entitled, pompous so called/self-proclaimed ‘stars’ and ‘fashionistas’ of bollywood are bringing the quality of films down and deforming impressionable young minds, glorifying bullying. I think it’s time that we address this issue not just by speaking about it but also turn it into reality. It’s time that you as bloggers post responsibly and we as readers be more understanding and acccepting, by that I mean there is no need to provide the entiled bunch this or any other platform to rise. This is my opinion and I had to express it because ‘There comes a time when silence is betrayal’

You are too naive to think they aren’t aware of these sites. It’s operates like the demand and supply policy.
Very well said. I appreciate HHC for not overindulging on star-kids. But on the other hand, we have to agree, that these nepo-kids have easy access to most famous designers and stylists and are usually better put together.
I actually quite strongly feel the bias for nepo kids on HHC as well. For instance, a Kareena/ Sonam/ Alia/ Malaika critique would always be kind, and borderline neutral with “made it work”, “what do you think” comments on less impressive sightings. And on the other spectrum (outside of Kangana :)), Sushants and his brood would get much more harsher words and more wheyys. I am using a past tense here, because the trend seems to have definitely changed in recent times with celebrities with lesser access to events/ designers and resources are also getting much more coverage and kinder words. Which is definitely a step forward.
Everything is business here including any fashion blogs or bollywood news blogs.. they post more on Ananya Pandey(how much ever boring she dresses without any personal style) than a outsider.. and they even tend to be a bit forgiving with them than outsiders.. could be fear or could be for a better chance of event invites or endorsements.. So we can’t blame them, it is us who need to stop showing any kind of curiosity towards these star kids, we need to stop clicking/reading their articles and stop giving them unnecessary importance that boost their social media ranking.. It is all about machine learning algorithms in play..
What an absolutely not needed discussion.First of all just because everyone is chanting nepo nepo ,they should also do so to please people like you. The moment it’s audience like you who start demanding for statements from Brands and famous people , it is a lost cause anyway. Everyone is forced to please the janta who might not even know the root of things. And what if it is PnPs personal choice to believe that nepo doesn’t control everything. or let just say like me is neutral – I do not know anything about the industry but should i also shout just because you have made it a part of popular culture to show you are disgruntled.The moment they will say that thing..mark my word you guys will go on a virtual lynching.So let’s just not drag things which are not needed here and force people to give statements. Nothing is disgusting here. If there is an audience for such thing how is it disgusting to give what your client asks. Plus this mask is very well effective.N-95 are needed for the patients. You can very well save yourself from these ones. Just because you have the keyboard keys at your disposal , doesn’t mean you can trash everything. Have some humor sweetheart..!!
