Masaba and Mouni were spotted recently wearing the black and gold sari designed by the former. While Masaba wore it to a pre-wedding cocktail party, Mouni wore it to a promotional event in Hyderabad. Given each one’s event, they wore it well. Have a preference?

Prefer Mouni in this match-up. Her sari is very well draped, and she is carrying it quite well
I like both looks, they look good!
Was so confused by Masaba’s feet, because the big toes were at the other end. Took a second to realize that she’s crossing her legs under that sari.
Except for the lower half/pleats, this saree is seriously tacky (pallu and drape remind me of those tinsel garlands at Christmas). However, Mouni still manages to look classy, thanks to her overall pleating/draping and styling.
Heavily dislike Masaba’s blouse so definitely Mouni
I am going with Mouni in this one. The blouse and the draping helped. The styling and accessorizing is on point.
It is amusing how a celeb can style a designer’s creation better than herself.
As I’m getting older, I’ve come to despise the bikini top saree blouse. Good on you for having the body for it but I hate seeing it with a saree
I get that you may not wish to offend the designer but it’s not like this blog to not choose the perfectly draped sari over a peek-a-boob.
Looks glam on both I slightly prefer Masaba more for the halter string blouse/top except I’d never do a one boob split pallu.
I prefer Mouni’s look; the blouse and draping make the saree more striking. Masaba’s shoestring blouse is not my cup of tea.
