Madhuri taped an episode for her dance reality show on Wednesday wearing a stitched yellow Seema Gujral sari and jacket set. The flashy outfit made sense for the taping but question is, would you wear it otherwise?

Haha I’ve seen flashier outfits than this being worn by the guests at weddings.
This still seems quite wearable for daytime festive events.
It looks very costumey.

the jacket is what saves it from going into tacky territory. that said, given the rubbish stuff people usually wear on tv, this is actually ok.
Why not? Nice outfit for weddings or receptions.
I actually quite like it. The saree is mostly plain. I would wear it to a cocktail or a wedding etc in a more muted colour – cream, a very soft green, light purple or grey with a small pair of diamond earrings.
Agree that this needs to be a muted color to look nicer , as is the yellow is looking too much & gaudy
