In Qbik

Madhuri attended the Khan-Shikhare wedding wearing a sharara from Qbik. The earthy color tones made for a very welcome change and she looked great in the suit.

  1. Not a very nice suit or style. So as much as I would like to, I didnt like the sighting…aside from the fact that she is one of the few ones that didnt do the teeny choli, peekaboo drape. Phew.

  2. Agree with comments above. A bit off.

I am kind of puzzled by the posts of the wedding, I know it is what is available but there are so many guests not wearing the bralette style. Alizeh and Alvira, Sakhsi Tanwar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Genelia, Hema, Saira and Rekha. Not all are great but definitely more varied and wearable than the usual suspects.

    • I agree with you. There were a number of outfits that were different, sedate and event appropriate. We haven’t even gotten a post of the bride and groom, which we normally see for all weddings.

    • Ghararas have a got (pronouned goat), the stitching around the knee from where the material flares out. This is just a divided skirt, so a sharara.

  3. The length of the kurta is def short . With sharara’s a longer kurta is needed . It seems a little casual , works for a party not a wedding reception . Granted the wedding is not your typical Bollywood affair as a lot of the Bollywood stars were not OTT like they normally are .

  4. Something def off… looks so incomplete – both in length of the top and the length of the sleeves.
The plain sharara doesnt help either…. seems more like a mismatched set
