Before the release of her movie, Kriti visited a temple for blessing and was seen wearing a yellow chikankari kurta set with yellow kolhapuris. Cropped pants with kurtas aren’t my cup of tea but she looked sweet nevertheless.

lovely! I dont follow fashion trends but loving this kurta with cropped pants. It looks classy and its more functional i guess.

Oh Payal, this seems to be the norm, or so I felt during my past few India visits.
No one appears to wear wide legged pajamas, or slim churidars any more. It’s all wide palazzos, or cropped wide-ish pants, or skinny drainpipe bottoms. I can’t warm up to any of these styles, so I end up feeling rather outmoded. Or classic, heheh!
I’m in the same boat. I like many of these kurtas but find that the are bottoms very sloppy. I end up wearing mine with salwars…

I love this look. With bottoms that hit upto ankle especially get so dirty in India. If they have chikan kari work, it just hurts to see all the dirt on the lovely work. So this is better, would save the bottoms if they are shorter
