It was a series of saris for Kirti while promoting her series and while she wore two regular length, two were worn a bit shorter. Have a favorite?

  1. love the injiri saree, esp the lime green against the sea green. also like the styling of the Jebsispar tho the saree itself isn’t a big deal. utterly LOVE seeing a celeb experimenting with saree drapes other than the cliched one-boob show!

  2. Are there really,, seriously really people who think, ok lets wear a mustard coulour blouse pair it with this weird printed cloth and then, I’ll wear it with the most hideous clumy shoes I can find….Fashion Statement, people!! And THEN i’ll do it all over again in white, black and red….

  3. The only bearable one for me is the green sari by J J Valaya. The Injiri one reminds me of cassata ice cream and the 3rd one…I just don’t get it. The print reminds me of ladybugs and the short length reminds me of the way women hitch up their saris to do work around the house or something..

  4. Are shorter saris a thing now? why would anyone do that? What all are they going to do in the name of fashion – sari with pants, with belts, denim sari, short sari..

  5. I like the upper half on all looks. Very clean sharp and charming! Cannot get in board of with the length that don’t go all the way to the floor. It looks funny when the sarer is short.
Also i didn’t get the corona virus? print.

  6. Short sarees have been worn for ages. Go to any Bharatanatyam class to see how to do it elegantly.

The JJ Valaya one is lovely. Kriti doesn’t look bad in the others, the credit goes solely to her.
