Katrina is in Riyadh attending the Red Sea Film Festival and was seen on Friday at a session in a black Sabyasachi sari and then at a gala in a Valentino look. She looked lovely in the sari but I felt like the hands felt a lil’ bare. A bangle/cuff would’ve made a nice addition. The Valentino was quite a surprise and while she wore it well, I wish she’d given us a different hairdo with it.

Why is there so much nitpicking over Katrina – pumps in previous post, jewelry and hair. Everyone other ridiculous gets a pass but you guys can’t even praise her elegant looks!
More you see garish outfits and sloppy sarees worn across the board more you start to appreciate the same-old same-old style of Katrina. Would take this same hairstyle, clean simple lines, and actual blouse over faux pas in name of experimentation.
She has a similar vibe to Amal Clooney – classic and sophisticated. That is a style statement in itself.
Uff how beautiful she looks fully covered none of those garish body baring atrocities!
No, a bangle with the saree would have totally ruined the sleek look.
What sort of a critique is this? I think it’s sometimes better to keep quiet than say something just for the heck of it. Especially if the person you are critiquing has better style sense than you!

Love the black saree look, it’s so gorgeous and quiet yet such a stand apart. The second look is ok, wished a better shirt.

With P&P on this. The look is very bare and seems unfinished. Borderlines snoozefest. She rarely experiments with her hair or makeup, the least she can do is accessorise? If you want to play it safe and just take a look from a designer without adding any elements of your own then you don’t belong to a fashion blog. Just my half cent 🙂
She is looking lovely in the sari. That shirt and tie is not working. The silver skirt is lovely though. I wished that she picked a better top to go with it.
The first look is outstanding. The second is giving “came straight from school, changed in the bathroom with a mini skirt hidden from Mom in my backpack”
An avant garde white shirt might have helped.
