In Alex Perry
Katrina launched her make-up line on Tuesday wearing a yellow Alex Perry dress with silver strappy sandals. She sure worked the dress but it would’ve been nice to have the hair worn in a ponytail. It would’ve also let us focus on the makeup, which considering the event, didn’t really stand out.

Nothing extra ordinary about this look! She looks the same in her safe zone. I’m o makeup expert but if this is how it looks on her, it’s going to be a hard sell 🙂
the color’s amazing on her (enough of the reds already) but… isn’t Katrina, she most unadventurous with hair/make-up/look, launching a make-up line a bit, erm, ironical?
It will sell, and thats what matters to them!
yeah agree, people are sheep and all of that… but if the point was to sell more make-up with an A-lister, surely Sonam would’ve been a better bet? or even Kareena.
Sonam and Kat Weere both dropped by L’Oréal. Sonam can’t sell makeup- not with that awfully white foundation and powder she likes to use.
She is looking hot! But am unable to understand why her twins seem to be suffocated
Looks like a bad fit. Yellow is her color.. more than red.
Ok so PnP what does it take to start your own make up? Just picking shades and calling it your style or actually deep diving into the ingredients, the palettes and actually talking to manufacturers? Genuinely asking since I wonder how these celebrities are all so suddenly aware of every (sometimes nasty) stuff inside makeup.
That said, as someone commented above, Kat is the last person who should introduce her own line since her makeup is the most safe and boring 99.9% of the time!
She is venturing into the business of it maybe… need not have expertise herself for that. Just like actresses venture into production houses, perfume or beauty products
It can actually be either way. You can have a manufacturer who produces makeup for several brands basically make it and put your logo on it, or you can go deeper. But even in the former, you probably need some education and something to set your brand apart.
It’s possible she is working with someone who has the expertise but doesn’t have the exposure. She is offering her brand.
Guess it’s a win win for both?
its a collab.. I’m sure she’s not inventing make up just like any other corporate brands. some ideology, some thought and some personal likes.
Really bad fit at the bust. A boring look like almost always.
She could have played with makeup. Dress Colour is lovely. But the hair is so meh.
A sleek ponytail would bring out her makeup more.
