Karisma attended an awards event wearing a sari and long coat from Sabyasachi’s latest collection that he showcased at his 25th anniversary show. Now, Karisma being her looked nice, but am a bit underwhelmed by this black on black combo. You like?

The whole black ensemble and this bigger sized jacket looks a bit overwhelming, shapeless and engulfs her.
Adding a simple gold belt and a less noir red lipstick would have looked a lot better.
I think the two pieces are fine individually — esp the long coat. It’s the pairing that’s suspect. I think this is the same Murshidabad silk Alia wore at the 25th: it needed a brighter blouse/ jacket/ coat because it seems like a fairly dull black and also doesn’t fall very well.
I’m a bit surprised at the overdone makeup – she is usually far more understated.
Needed different styling, makeup, hairstyle as well.
Not liking the make up here.
The whole look probably would have looked more impactful in person..
