Karisma and Chitrangda opted for black saris at Manish Malhotra‘s opening show at Lakme Fashion Week but both wearing it quite differently. Have a preference?

Seriously?? Chitrangada looks dated.. even Karishma’s look isn’t any new but she fares much better than Ms. Singh
My eyes hurt looking at those sarees…
A smile makes such a lot of difference… karishma’s face seems so drawn n weary.
Chitra looks like she’s in a saree but Karishma seems like wearing a gown. Having been to some Bollywood events, I can just say the unsaid dress code is jazzy, over glam, glossy, loud, sparkly.. so no surprises.
Neither. And karisma rarely gets it wrong.
Karishma anyday. She makes the outfit elegant whereas the other one just looks blingy
Back to bling ! But I can also go back to the Kolkata saree lawyer look to cleanse the palate.

Ms. Singh for sure. Sure, the saree is blingy but she looks amazing. Ms. Kapoor could have picked a different MM saree.
This is a rare miss for Karisma. I wish she’d picked a different colour and style for this appearance.
I think kareena wore same in nude peach shade weeks back.. it was better, given the shiny texture of material.

His saris are so outdated. meh.

Karisma needs some jewelry. This looks unfinished / stark.
Surprised that so many are veering towards Chitrangada…her saree is too blingy, roadside kind, plus her hair is always the same just like Katrina. Karisma’s saree is a shade better but she brings a certain poise to whatever she wears and keeping rest of everything toned down worked.
Its funny.. just because they are in black and sari they get compared.. these saris are so different.. and the 70s glamour is back with Manish.. Karismas sari is soo stunning.. wish she had some jewellery on.. chitrangada rocks his signature net saris .. but they both look stunning.. its black ya! How can one go wrong?
