Kareena celebrated Diwali on Sunday evening with family wearing a blue lehenga from Tokree Jaipur paired with jhumkis. Loved that she picked a simpler fare and still wore it with aplomb.
I really like how Kareena goes for these slightly middle class (upper?) lowkey brands for private appearances. There is a certain restraint and self-assurance in these choices. I find it tasteful and harking back to an older time when everything and everyone was not corporatised to resemble a homogenous cultural blob. I also feel Saif is a major influence here, he and his parents have this rather earthy, matter-of-fact, non-filmy individuality defiant of consumer and PR diktats. Their home reflects this aesthetic too!
Oh my! Is it? Some years back I had checked out this brand and found most of their fare within 250-500 USD. I assumed they must cater to the upper middle class.. lol. Although I stand by my point, I have often seen her go for small affordable labels like Atelier Shikarbaagh, Label Nimbus, Devnaagri, Fabindia, etc.
Oozing class all the way. Love the color, the dress, the accessories, the hair and the fact that she went minimalistic with the make up… Alia, learn from Kareena…
Low key stunning!! Kareena looks more beautiful with each passing day, so comfortable in her own skin, and it’s oh so delightful to witness. In the day and age where everyone looks indistinguishable due to fillers and identical styling, the kapoor sisters come across as such a breath of fresh air
love this. kareena’s always been a confident person but there’s something that sets her apart these days and as the commentator said above, i suspect it’s saif’s influence.
and this is what a non-stylist appearance looks like, reflective of her own persona. all authentic, no posturing.

Ditto! Well said
It’s a 700$ sharara, nothing middle class about it!
Exactly, when I checked price online, this seemed like close to $1000. So, nothing on the low range.

Loved her lehenga, esp this style of choli that no one from B town wears anymore… The colour was refreshing too.
This woman is an enigma. She truly knows how to shine in the simplest of affairs.
Kareena is luminous…love the color on her. Full on “rani” vibes…
Her confidence ups the look by several notches.

My gosh so beautiful.. have no words for the outfit and color, so far she’s been the best Diwali look and then Sonam..
Beautiful…
