Kareena attended an event in Delhi wearing an animal print sari and jacket set from Sabyasachi with a heavy neckpiece. The sari wasn’t so bad and neither was the necklace but both worn together just looked terrible. Can’t believe a stylist approved of this move.

I can’t believe Sabya designed this monstrosity. And how could Kareena agree to wear it – especially considering the event in question? The over-embellished neckpiece makes it worse.

I like it, to be honest I think she looks stunning. The contrast looks good and it doesn’t look cluttered either.
Yes, agree. This a different take on the saree print + jewellery combo. Somehow, she makes this look work for. I am tired of seeing the same old Sabya sarees and this is definitely a change.
I’m starting to believe that Rhea’s styling is not everyone’s cup of tea. It tends to provoke, outrage and trigger (clearly). It’s for attention grabbing.
Not for the meek and subtle and minimalists which readers and writers of this site tend to prefer. Not throwing shade on that btw, before you come after me! It’s just a mismatch in taste.
I think this whole look is something only and only Bebo could carry off. She owns every bit.

She looks gorgeous in the print, color and the necklace.. buttoning up would’ve made this classy.

I actually really like it and I’m surprised myself. It’s one of those rare cases where a stylist takes a huge, over-the-top risk, and the actor somehow completely pulls it off. There’s real oomph and panache here; I honestly can’t imagine it working on anyone else. Sonam and Kareena are two of the few who can truly bring Rhea’s outrageous vision to life — the rest of her clientele tries and chases it, but they usually end up looking like they just copied from an highly curated mood board.
I think Sonam has done this look multiple times and versions.. even in her wedding reception. But Kareena can pull anything without much effort.
I am so so surprised that I think this look is fabulous. The teensy blouse goes unnoticed amidst the jacket, the drape and the necklace. The hair and makeup kept simple allows the whole look to just work. Great styling job.

This may be the only Sabya outfit I hated on sight. From the color to the print to the blouse to the jacket, nothing works for me. To her credit, Kareena has a certain innate style that salvages it somewhat.
@payal – Aren’t we tried of seeing the heavy jewellery against a monochrome saree. I think this is called taking a risk and IMO it paid off. What is the use of a stylist if they cant innovate or take risks? Atleast you need to call out that the stylist is willing to take risks, instead of calling them terrible.

Her make up and smile makes up for the Bengal Tigress. Sigh.
